Principal / Project Manager

Tim has 17 years of natural resource consulting experience working on a large variety of projects ranging from large hard-rock mines in AK, coal mines in WY, pipelines in IL and TX, to many energy, transportation, water resources, and development projects throughout in Colorado.

Korby Mintken

Transportation and Wildlife Biology Lead / Project Manager

Provides biological consulting and environmental permitting expertise to projects in Colorado. He has over 9 years of experience in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance, including extensive experience with Noxious Weed surveys and management plan development, Migratory Bird Treaty Act (MBTA), Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act (BGEPA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), and Clean Water Act (CWA) compliance, as well as other wildlife-related laws, as related to construction projects in Colorado.

Tony Fastiggi

Environmental Technician

Environmental scientist with 2+ years’ experience with the Bureau of Land Management in rangeland ecology. Knowledgeable on the NEPA process, federal environmental regulations, wetland science, rangeland management, and technical writing. A diverse environmental science background that includes rangeland ecology, botany, sustainability research, remote wilderness fieldwork, and GIS. Passionate to be part of the climate and environmental solution by leveraging new technological and social approaches.

Joe Allison

Operations Assistant / Env Tech

Joe has ten years of industry experience in environmental consulting, and specializes in water quality and water-related regulations. His strengths include business development and operations. He has a passion for landscape architecture and design. Joe provides a range of services from biological technician tasks to business strategy, business planning, and operations assistance.

Kelly Anolin

Bookkeeper / Accounting Administrator

Highly experienced bookkeeper, with years of experience in the professional service sector. Has managed accounts for a large variety of small businesses.

Madeline (Maddie) Shields

Biologist / GIS Lead

Highly technical biologist, with over 10 years experience on solar and energy transmission projects. A botanist by trade and training, now focuses on wetland delineations and permitting, eagle and other migratory bird surveys. Strong GIS skills, Maddie runs our most complex mobile data form projects.

James (Jimmy) Turowsky

 Biologist / GIS Specialist

James joined CORVUS Environmental Consulting in November 2021. He is a biological technician with experience in Geographic Information Systems. James previously worked for the Colorado Natural Heritage Program where he surveyed wetlands and alpine ecosystems throughout the state.

Adam Verrell

Restoration Biologist

Adam has a diverse background in ecological restoration, biological consulting, natural resource protection, geospatial data analysis, and project management. He specializes in designing and managing revegetation projects, overseeing and conducting a wide array of ecological monitoring efforts, and consulting on environmental regulations in numerous industries. With over 8 years of experience conducting fieldwork in a variety of ecosystems, he is proficient in the design of restoration and invasive plant management plans, vegetation mapping, habitat assessments, wetland delineations, contractor oversight, and Endangered Species Act (ESA), Migratory Bird Act (MBTA), and Clean Water Act (CWA) compliance. Drawing on extensive experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, including regulators, landowners, and public entities, he has a proven track record of effectively managing projects to address complex environmental challenges and regulations.

Erin Tessens

Restoration Biologist

Erin has academic and several years of professional experience in botany and disturbance ecology across various ecosystems, including the Front Range, Colorado Plateau, Great Basin, and Mohave Desert. She has experience in various types of vegetation monitoring, noxious weed monitoring and management plans, rare plant monitoring and mitigation, and plant taxonomy. She also has a background in other biological aspects such as rangeland ecology and management, fire mitigation, and wildlife surveys.

Matthew Boyer

Lead Biologist / Project Manager

Matt has 12+ years of experience in ecological consulting, including extensive background working
throughout Colorado from the eastern plains to the high country, and all along the western slope. His focus has been on Clean Water Act 404 permitting, wildlife regulatory compliance, and wetland restoration construction and monitoring. The insights he has gained into local, state, and federal environmental policies have given him the ability to find creative solutions for clients to meet regulatory requirements while ensuring the sustainability of critical natural resources.
