1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of corvusenvironmental.com (the “Site”), operated by CORVUS Environmental Consulting, LLC (“CORVUS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, subscribing to our newsletter, or communicating with us through the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These Terms apply to your use of the Site and to our general communications with you. Consulting services that we perform for clients are governed by separate written agreements; if these Terms conflict with a signed services agreement, the services agreement controls.
2. Informational Purposes Only; No Professional Advice
The content on the Site — including descriptions of environmental regulations, blog posts, and project examples — is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not environmental, regulatory, engineering, legal, or other professional advice, and it may not reflect the most current regulatory developments. Do not act or rely on Site content without obtaining advice specific to your situation. Using the Site, contacting us, or subscribing to our newsletter does not create a consultant-client relationship; that relationship is formed only through a signed agreement.
3. Permitted Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or its security features;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its systems;
- Use automated means to scrape or harvest content or data from the Site (other than ordinary search-engine indexing);
- Introduce viruses or other harmful code; or
- Use the Site or our contact channels to send spam or unlawful, deceptive, or harassing communications.
4. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content — including text, graphics, photographs, logos, and the CORVUS name and branding — are owned by CORVUS or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view, download, and print Site content for your personal or internal business reference, provided you keep all copyright and other proprietary notices intact. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use requires our prior written permission.
5. Communications, Newsletter, and Text Messaging
- Contact form and email. Information you submit through the Site’s contact form or by email is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through the contact form. Contacting us does not create a consultant-client relationship or an obligation to respond within a particular time.
- By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails from CORVUS. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every newsletter or by emailing info@corvusenv.com.
- Text messages (SMS). We use text messaging only for direct project and inquiry coordination with people who have texted us first or who have asked us to communicate by text; we do not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply according to your carrier plan. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at 303-872-7084. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle mobile numbers and text messaging consent.
6. Third-Party Websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including government agency resources. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party sites, and a link does not imply our endorsement.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CORVUS and its members, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. This section applies to use of the Site; any liability arising from consulting services is addressed in the applicable services agreement.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CORVUS from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
10. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and your continued use of the Site after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Severability; Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CORVUS regarding use of the Site.
